See Why Pep Guardiola Has Told His Players To ‘Stay In The Fridge’

Manchester city manager Pep Guardiola created clear the impact of their hard Christmas schedule, saying he would store his players in a fridge at his home over the merry period.

Spaniard football Manager,Pep Guardiola, keen to not build direct complaints on having to play two games in but 48 hours, spoke metaphorically at his press conference.

“Go home, open the fridge and get inside for 48 hours,” he said.

“See you at the Etihad stadium in two days. I’m not joking.”

They visit Wolves on 27 December (19:45 GMT) and entertain Sheffield United on 29 December (18:00).
